New Drop-in Rec. Programs

Drop-in Programs

Winooski Recreation and Parks are excited to offer two new drop-in programs this fall at the O'Brien Community Center! These programs are free and do not require registration. 

DIY Tuesdays - Autumn Edition

Crafts made easy - for youth!

Tuesdays; Sept. 3 - 24, 2019 @ the O'Brien Community Center / 1 PM - 5 PM

Drop by the O'Brien Community Center for DIY crafts every Tuesday from 3 - 5 PM. There will be new and fun crafts to do each week plus outdoor activities.

Drop-In Youth Dance Program

Our Drop-in Youth Dance Program is open to all levels of experience and offers an open space for youth to engage in creative movement that promotes exercise, discipline, and fun!

  • August - September 2019 Thursdays @ 4 PM O'Brien Community Center Basic
  • Overview: 10 minutes-warm up and stretching 40 minutes-technique, across the floor work, choreography, free dance, and discussion of history/context of movements and songs
  • 10 minutes-cool down and mediation
