Committee Overview
The City Manager Search Committee is a task-oriented group that supports the City Council with hiring a new City Manager - the executive overseeing all operations in Winooski. The Committee has been established to facilitate the recruitment and selection process before advancing finalists to the City Council. Committee responsibilities include:
- discussing the key traits and professional experiences of the next City Manager
- finalizing a competency matrix and job posting
- reviewing applications, selecting interview questions, and conducting first-round interviews
- seeking feedback from the public and the City's Leadership Team/staff
