[ARCHIVED] Scheduled Road Resurfacing 10.22.22 on Upper North Street

Traffic Advisory

Due to a lack of staff and limited days conducive for paving this late in the season, The City of Winooski Department of Public Works and its contractor, F.W. Whitcomb Construction Corporation, will complete the road resurfacing work on North Street, tomorrow, Saturday, October 22, 2022. The Contractor will begin paving operations at 7 AM and all work on North Street is anticipated to be completed by 6 PM.

Street parking will not be permitted during road work! This restriction on parking will remain in effect until the work is complete. Violators will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense. Overnight parking tonight is permitted but the road must be clear by 6 AM on Saturday, October 22.

Please also note:

  • Temporary road closures are expected. Flaggers will provide traffic control during work hours.
  • Winooski DPW encourages drivers and residents to plan accordingly – drivers should avoid the area if possible. Residents will have access to their driveways but delays should be expected.
  • Please use caution when passing through work areas
