The Winooski Finance Commission continued working to understand the City’s financial landscape as they get off the ground. In December, the group shared questions they had and discussed what information they would like to see to gain a base knowledge of our revenues and expenses. We spent the January meeting looking at just that. Follow the link below to see a breakdown of the City’s:
- sources of revenue and how they’re split across funds
- expenses broken down by both type function (city service)
- key services provided and outcomes achieved by function
At the February meeting, we will look at our reserve funds (our savings) and the Tax Increment Finance District (the downtown debt and financing).
