[ARCHIVED] Development Review Board Remote Public Hearing on 7/16/20

Public Hearing

A public hearing will be held by the Winooski Development Review Board on Thursday, July 16, 2020 beginning at 6:30 PM to consider the following: Conditional Use Request: 9 George Street

Applicant has submitted a zoning permit application to establish a detached cottage at 9 George Street. Detached cottages are listed as a conditional use in the Residential B (R-B) Zoning District and require approval from the Development Review Board before a zoning permit can be issued. Conditional use review is outlined in Section 6.7 of the City’s Unified Land Use and Development Regulations. The Development Review Board will hold a public hearing on this request before rendering a decision. Decisions of the Development Review Board can be appealed by “interested persons” (as defined by 24 V.S.A. §4465) to the Environmental Division of the Vermont Superior Court.

This public hearing will be conducted by electronic means only. Members of the public interested in participating can do so by visiting or by calling 646 558 8656 and using Webinar ID: 995 6111 1691. Toll charges may apply. Members of the public interested in participating are requested, but not required to make their intentions known by contacting Eric Vorwald, City of Winooski Planning & Zoning Manager. Any questions or intent to testify during the public hearing should be provided to Mr. Vorwald via email at at least 48 hours in advance to ensure this information is included in the record of the hearing. This will also allow the chair to recognize participants to provide testimony at the appropriate time during the hearing.
