Halloween in Winooski 2020

Halloween 2020

The City of Winooski and Downtown Winooski are excited to bring you the 2020 Halloween in Winooski event! Although COVID-19 has made us plan for a safe, simplified, outdoor only event, we hope to create a meaningful community experience.

Curbside Pumpkin Pickup & Return 🎃

Sat Oct 24 - Wed Oct 28 / 9 AM - 5 PM @ Winooski Senior Center

This year, we are asking community members to take the "Pumpkin Pledge" - we need your help! How many pumpkins can you carve?

  • Step 1: take the pledge - call or email to reserve your pumpkin pickup (no limits!) - 802 655 1392 / volunteer@winooskivt.gov
  • Step 2: pick up your pumpkins and enjoy a safe night of carving at home
  • Step 3: bring your finished jack-o-lanterns BACK for safe-keeping. We'll handle setup and lighting.

Pumpkins are free - carving tools not provided. Masks and minimum 6' social distancing required for curbside pickup. Additional pumpkin requests encouraged! Want to further support the event? Learn more about Downtown Winooski's "Adopt-a-Pumpkin" fundraiser

Halloween in Winooski 2020 👻

Thurs Oct 29 - Sat Oct 31 @ Rotary Park

Masks and minimum 6' social distancing required. Enter only at north entrance, exit only at south exit (see map). Max capacity: 150 participants at a time (volunteer counters will be at the entrance and exit). The Vermont Department of Health requires us to take your name and town/city of residence upon entry. We need a select number of event volunteers. Call or email to learn more: 802 655 1392 / volunteer@winooskivt.gov. Please note: this event does not include trick-or-treating or indoor activities. The Vermont Department of Health suggests families trick-or-treat safely in small groups, wearing masks, and staying 6' apart from everyone. Questions regarding Halloween in Winooski can be sent to communications@winooskivt.gov.
