Join Winooski Rec's New Run & Ride Club

Do you love to run? Do you love to bike? Join Winooski Recreation and Parks, Local Motion, and the Monkey House for our new Run & Ride club! This amazing outdoor program invites community members to get active and is free and open to all. 

Program Info

  • May 12 – September 29, 2019
  • Every Wednesday @ 6:30 PM (weather dependent)
  • Registration not required; this is a weekly drop-in event
  • Open to all skill levels


  • Routes start and end at the Monkey House (30 Main St.) - please sign in!
  • Route maps will be provided at the start
  • Run and Bike Ambassadors will be there to guide you
  • Run Routes: Beginner (1 - 2 miles), Intermediate/Advanced (3 - 6 miles)
  • Bike Routes: Beginner (2 - 3 miles), Intermediate/Advanced (10 - 15 miles)

Punch Card Prizes

Participants who plan to come back weekly can elect to join our punch card program, available when you arrive! Winooski Rec. will provide you with an index card to log your miles and work towards incentives. You can win amazing prizes:

  • 50 miles = run & ride club water bottle
  • 100 miles = run & ride club t-shirt
  • 200 miles = run & ride club hoodie

All ages and skill levels are encouraged to join, anyone is welcome to walk, run, ride, and learn with us.

Please wear a mask and respect 6' social distancing when around others.
