[ARCHIVED] Memorial Day Closures and New Hours at the Library and Senior Center

Public Hearing

Winooski City Hall, the Winooski Memorial Library, and the Winooski Senior Center will be closed on Monday, May 31, 2021, in observance of Memorial Day.

Regular hours will resume at Winooski City Hall on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 (M - F, 9 AM - 3 PM). 

Please note, the Winooski Memorial Library and Winooski Senior Center will have new operational hours:

Winooski Memorial Library - Starting 6.1.21

  • Tuesday: 10 AM - 2 PM 
  • Wednesday: 1 PM - 6 PM (by browse and borrow appointment only)
  • Thursday: 10 AM - 2 PM
  • Friday: 1 PM - 6 PM
  • Saturday: 10 AM - 2 PM

Please keep in mind that reopening does not mean a complete return to normal operations. Visitors and staff are required to continue to wear masks and practice 6' social distancing. Additionally, the library will be operating at 50% capacity (11 patrons at a time) and we ask that you keep visits to under an hour so that others may have the opportunity to visit, too. Thanks as always for your continued support and we appreciate your patience and cooperation as we again open our doors safely and responsibly.

Winooski Senior Center - Starting 6.2.21

The Winooski Senior Center will be open from Tuesday to Thursday, from 9:30 AM to 1 PM as well as for programs scheduled outside those weekly drop-in hours. For more details, please call or email Barb Pitfido, Senior Programs Manager: 802 655 6425 /
