DEA RX Take Back Day

The Winooski Police Department has partnered with the Winooski Partnership for Prevention for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day! Drop off any unused/unwanted prescription medication and/or any vape or e-cigarette devices in the lobby drop box at the Winooski Police Department. 

  • Saturday, April 30, 2022 / 8 AM - 8 PM @ the Winooski Police Department (27 West Allen St.)
  • Drop off any unused/unwanted prescription medication and/or any vape or e-cigarette devices in the lobby drop box
  • Can't make it? Feel free to drop off your items day-of, or at any other time - this service is available 24/7!

Guidelines

  • Please remove solid medications from their containers. If submitting a container, please remove any identifying information or labels. 
  • Solid dosage products and liquids in containers are accepted - liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain sealed in their original container. 
  • Please ensure that the cap is tightly sealed to prevent leakage. 
  • Intravenous solutions, injectables, needles, or syringes will not be accepted due to potential hazards posed by blood-borne pathogens.
